BETH EL SISTERHOOD
April 12, 2026 and April 13, 2026 at 10 AM-5 PM both days. Unique Boutique - The Sisterhood of Beth El Congregation annually sponsors a two-day show, known as Unique Boutique. This event features vendors who sell clothing, jewelry, gifts, toys, crafts, stationery, flowers, accessories and more. We are fortunate that many of our vendors return annually and because of our reputation we typically have more than 1,000 shoppers attending this popular annual event.. Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 4 - 5 PM. "Shmoozing with the Word Mavens" Program. This program celebrates Jewish traditions, holidays, beloved foods and the Yiddish and Hebrew words that describe them. Their program – which includes everything from fun facts about bagels to why there is no substitute for a good "Oy!" – rekindles childhood memories and makes audiences laugh out loud. Sunday, April 19, 2026, 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Hadassah Celebrates: Speakeasy Soirée. Pikesville, MD (exact location to be disclosed upon registration). The evening begins with a festive cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing to live music from Sami Flava and Bobby's Blues Band. Throughout the night, enjoy a silent auction, photo booth, roving magician, and a spirited costume contest. This year, we are proud to honor Barbara Black, Barbara Fink, and Susan Grilli, of blessed memory, for their dedication and service. May 6, 7:30 PM - Legislative De-Briefing with Maryland State Senator, Shelly Hettleman. Maryland State Senator Shelly Hettleman (District 11) provides an overview of the successes and challenges of the 2026 Maryland General Assembly. Senator Hettleman is the Chair of the Maryland Legislative Jewish Caucus and a lifetime member of Hadassah. This event will be on Zoom (registration link coming soon). The cost is Free. Tuesday, May 12th, 1-3 PM. Building Healthy Habits : Bite by Bite in Pikesville, MD (exact location to be disclosed upon registration. This event will promote foods to boost immunity, reduced inflammation and lower disease risk. The menu will incorporate a variety of vegetables, legumes, fruits that are high fiber, less sugar and minimally processed. The cost is $18.
